| CENTRE SECTION NEW EP - NEW BAND ELEPHANT November 19th 2009, Thursday 12:30 am |
| Centre Section released a new EP last Saturday, theres some tracks up on myspace for preview - I reccomend listening to Combs and Scissors its quite heavy and put together well. The new EP is available at gigs for $12. Theres a new band called Elephant featuring the old frontman from Schlauncher and members of Spazmoo - i managed to catch a little bit of them on the weekend and they are well worth seeing. Ive added the link to the Beat theory myspace below since on the last update I couldnt remember it, check them out if you like hip hop. Thats all for now. |

| Well its been over a year since this site has been updated, a lot has happened since then. There were a lot of things planned for this site that will still eventually happen, but just not yet. We will however be updating frequently again now. We've seen Point break break up, but now they are back together with Jason Allan (ex Inhale the Sea as a front man) as vocals and Tonga moving to the bass. Inhale the Sea have lost bass player Jake Harris, and Dyl Martin has filled the spot, Jay has left the band and is now in Point Break. The band currently has no bass player but is writing songs that are expected to be released in 2010. We are seeing the rise of some electronica/hip hop including Spandex Moose and them being featured on Rhymetorrents as well as releasing a range of new material. Including "For the gamers" which i think is awesome. A friend of Mine from school Cam Dunn has been working hard in a hip hop outfit called Beat Theory that have been playing throughout the central coast and sydney. H3R3T3K has been signed to a US label and has been collaborating with quite a few artists, check it out if you like the darkside of music. Sophiella Watt has played the view factory quite a few times now, gaining quite a following with her mix of acoustic sounds and warm vocals. I am currently working on a project called Epic electric which i'll post more about as it happens. Have to say thanks to square boy for teaching me the basics of electronica. | Marked Starr Entertainment are hosting a gig at Ormsby House in Taree on the 28th of November. Check the shows page for more information. For the record, the Akoostik Festival was pretty awesome, there is some discussion about it on the forum check it out. |
